As a doctor, my patients often ask me if they can have a more natural way of healing. And I always ask them to try herbal teas. One of the best brands that I recommend is Ono Teas, as they make handcrafted loose-leaf teas that are processed in small quantities to ensure the retention of nutrients. Their exotic collection of teas and tisanes has helped my patients manage their weight and maintain healthy blood pressure levels and blood sugar.

HISTORY & ORIGINS

White Lavender Tea
White tea is grown in different places like Zheng He, Fuding, and Fujian provinces of China. Varieties that grow in each province differ slightly in the shade of colour and taste. There is no clear history of when or where it was first planted. Sources say it was during Song Dynasty in Imperial China from 960 to 1280 AD. White tea was so popular, it was even referenced in ancient poetry. It was offered as a tribute to the rulers of the Tang Dynasty. Next up, we have a visually pleasing, breathtaking, and therapeutic flower, lavender. Ono Teas’ dried velvet flower buds can hypnotize you to sleep with its sultry aroma. Lavender is a flowering plant that comes from the mint family. The origin of lavender is believed to be from the Mediterranean, Middle East, and India, almost 2500 years back. It obtains its name from the Latin ‘lavare’ meaning “to wash”. The Romans used lavender to scent their baths, beds, clothes, and even hair. Ono Teas’ Lavender White tea is a golden liquor blended with lavender and white tea. Rest assured, as this tea is all you need to relax and unwind.
