HISTORY & ORIGINS

Chamomile Green Tea
Chamomile comes from the Greek words ‘chamos’ meaning ground and ‘melos’ meaning apple – because of the fresh apple scent of the chamomile blossoms. Originating from Egypt, chamomile is also grown in other temperate climates around the world, including India, South America, South Africa, and Australia. Ancient Egyptians consider chamomile as a gift from the god of the sun. On the other hand, we have green tea. Did you know that green tea was discovered by mistake? Around 2737 BC in China, the Chinese emperor Shennong was drinking hot boiled water. He found a dead tea leaf that has fallen into his cup of water by mistake, which surprisingly tasted refreshing. Thus the famous green tea was born. Therefore, Ono Teas’ Chamomile Green tea is the perfect sleep-promoting elixir with the goodness of green tea leaves for immunity and relaxation

1 review for Chamomile Green Tea

  1. In general, I have issues falling asleep at night. When someone recommended Onoteas chamomile tea, I was a tad bit sceptic. But it has proven its worth. I'd totally recommend this product for all who require a little something to help them calm their minds.
